In the year 1944, the Anaesthesiologists attending a surgical conference at Mumbai (Bombay) thought of forming a common platform for exchange of scientific views, which was consolidated in 1946 following “Ether Day” celebrations in October of that year. With the continued efforts of leading Anaesthesiologists of India, the Indian Society Anaesthesiologists was born on 30th December 1947.

ISA, being anall India professional organisation, represents nearly 15,000 anaesthesiologists, through 26 states and 124 city branches spread across India.

With addition of increasing numbers of young anaesthesiologists into the fold of ISA in the last few years, we are committed to dedicate this year to “Younger Anaesthesiologists”, who are the future of our ISA. The year 2015 of ISA shall be for the qualitative growth of our younger generation.

ISA WB is the State Branch of ISA in West Bengal. It works as per the guidelines of ISA. ISAWB is pleased to announce that 25th annual conference of East Zone ISAJAC 2015 & 36th Annual State Conference is going to be held from 6th Nov to 8th Nov 2015 at Kolkata (West Bengal), India. The conference will bring some of the national and international pioneers in the field of anesthesia to present their clinical experiences and research findings. It will provide an opportunity to delegates to interact closely with outstanding national experts.

For ISAJAC 2015 delegates are requested to submit application online by filling up the form and fees as specified in our website. They can pay online using our payment gateway whereby the confirmation of the application will be confirmed instantly.

Registered members of the Society are eligible for conference registration. Members whose applications for Registration are in progress with ISA will also be allowed to register for the conference. A letter from HOD of the institute is mandatory for P.G.Students who would like to enroll for the conference.
